AMENITIES include a 6 lane, 25 meter pool with shallow end and diving pit, fenced baby pool, two lighted and fenced clay tennis courts, sand volley ball court, basketball, ping pong, 4-square court, water volley ball, pot luck dinners and pool sponsored parties, large mens and womens dressing rooms with showers, snack bar and a large picnic/party area with gas grills that can be reserved for parties .

Life Guard Information  If you are interested in guarding at SHRC this summer download an application from this web site and send it to our manager, Tony Burnette at 3268 Sandray, Memphis, TN 38128. To qualify for consideration you must be at least 15 years old. Tony will teach certification classes for life guarding and CPR at the pool beginning in May (see the May calendar for specific dates and times for the classes.)

SWIM LESSONS Free Red Cross Certified Swim Lessons are offered during the summer. Sign-up sheets will be located on the bulletin board. Children will be grouped according to ability. There will be a sign up table at Open House. Swim Lesson Schedule: Session 1 Tuesday thru Friday June 10-20 Level 1- 12 noon Level 2- 1 p.m. Level 3- 2 p.m. Level 4- 3 p.m. Session 2 Tuesday June 24 thru Thursday July 3 Level 2- 12 noon Level 3- 1 p.m. Level 4- 2 p.m. Level 5- 3 p.m.
